VR Entertainment Leader Rilix LLC Names Industry Veteran Jim Wyatt President

Rilix LLCMELBOURNE, FL—February 10, 2025— Rilix LLC, a leading developer of unattended virtual reality attractions, has appointed Jim Wyatt as president. Wyatt officially assumes his role on February 10 and will be responsible for all external activities involving Rilix’s VR product lineup, including sales, distributor relations, public relations and promotions.

Wyatt’s appointment marks a new strategic direction for Rilix, which has spent the past decade focused on developing best-in-class VR experiences and building a strong support infrastructure. As the company’s first executive dedicated to U.S. sales, Wyatt will spearhead growth efforts in North America while also leading Rilix’s expansion in Europe, an emerging market for the VR manufacturer.

Rilix LLC“We are thrilled to welcome Jim to our team,” said Franco Gonçalves, chief operating officer and founder of Rilix. “We know our product better than anyone, and we know how to support our customers. But Jim has a deep understanding of what our customers need—he can advise them not only on how to operate our VR attractions, but also whether they are the right fit for their businesses.”

Wyatt brings more than two decades of experience in the amusement industry, having held key management roles with some of the nation’s largest amusement services providers, including National Entertainment Network Inc. (NEN), Coinstar and American Coin Merchandising (Sugarloaf). His extensive background in operations and customer relations has given him a keen understanding of the needs of operators and distributors.

In addition to his corporate experience, Wyatt has served as president of the California Entertainment Machine Association (CEMA) for the past eight years, where he played a key role in advocating for the industry. During the pandemic, he led efforts to support amusement operators in California, the nation’s largest state economy, navigating them through one of the most challenging periods in the sector’s history. He stepped down as CEMA president January 31.

Rilix maintains two production facilities in Brazil, along with an assembly, warehouse, service and sales facility in Melbourne, FL. The company employs some 70 people worldwide, with 15 dedicated to customer support. To date, thousands of Rilix VR coasters have been installed globally.
