To elevate anticipation ahead of the movie's launch, which is based on the best-selling video game franchise, Bandai Namco has released a range of size 3 plush toys featuring many of the game’s iconic characters, including Steve, Alex, Ender Dragon, and Creeper, along with other Minecraft-themed prizes.
As the exclusive European distributor for Minecraft for the past four years, Bandai Namco has now made crane plushes available for purchase, with an offer to buy two 48-piece cartons or more for a unit price of £4.95. Customers can also benefit from 12 packs of Minecraft cards per carton if they quote DSMINE1.
Bandai Namco is also looking ahead to the release of Series 4 of Raw Thrills’ Minecraft Dungeons Arcade, and will introduce a new Pumpkin Pastures level, 25 additional cards (including rare foil Hero cards), and over two hours of cooperative gameplay for up to four players.
The exciting launch of Minecraft plush toys and prizes coincides with the Easter holidays, the film release, and the trending range of Minecraft toys available from McDonald’s Happy Meals, showcasing Bandai Namco’s ability to capitalize on highly popular intellectual properties that resonate across generations.
Darrell Simmonds, EMEA Prize Sales Manager at Bandai Namco Amusement Europe, said: “We are excited to announce our fun and instantly recognizable Minecraft crane plushes. Minecraft has sold over 200 million copies worldwide, and with our new range of toys, there is no better time to capitalize on the hype surrounding this trending IP as the movie prepares to hit theaters.
