July 19th, 2024 - Creative Works, a leading manufacturer of location-based entertainment attractions, recently installed a Borderlands-inspired laser tag arena and a Limitless VR experience at the new Andretti Indoor Karting & Games in Grand Prairie, Texas.
The Borderlands-inspired laser tag arena transports players to an “a-punk-lyptic” frontier desert, where they engage in adrenaline-pumping battles amidst a landscape filled with abandoned gas stations, broken electric poles, burnt down building facades, and other warlike elements.
Dominating the arena is a towering 14-foot-tall crumbling Lady Justice statue, serving as a captivating centerpiece that enhances the immersive experience.
"We are thrilled to partner with Andretti Indoor Karting & Games to bring this electrifying laser tag experience to life," said Armando Lanuti, President of Creative Works. "By integrating captivating themes and state-of-the-art technology, we aim to provide guests with unforgettable adventures that push the boundaries of traditional entertainment."
In addition to the laser tag arena, guests at Andretti Indoor Karting & Games Grand Prairie can now enjoy the free roam Limitless VR attraction, located on a dedicated steel platform within the newly constructed venue. Offering a unique vantage point, Limitless allows spectators to observe players in action from various areas of the venue, adding to the overall excitement and atmosphere. Unlike conventional VR experiences, Limitless features a free-roam design enhanced by physical props and barriers within the playing space, providing players with a tactile and immersive adventure.
The Grand Prairie Texas location, which officially opened to guests on July 10, 2024, also offers go-karts, bowling, arcade games, a restaurant, and a full-service bar.
