Dave & Buster’s, the popular arcade and sports bar chain, is coming to Colorado Springs for the first time. The Dallas-based company has over 140 locations nationwide, but only two in Colorado: Denver and Westminster.
The new location will be in the Highlands at Briargate retail district, on Briargate Parkway and Chapel Hills Drive, just east of the Shops at Briargate. The Pikes Peak Regional Building Department (PPRBD) issued a permit for the project in January and shared pictures of the building taking shape on Wednesday.
Dave & Buster’s offers food, drinks, games, and a great place to host parties, according to its website. The chain specializes in food, sports watching and arcade games, and is one of the latest high-profile hospitality brands to expand to Colorado Springs.
The opening date has not been announced yet, but fans of the chain can expect a fun and lively atmosphere with a variety of entertainment options. Dave & Buster’s has games for all ages and skill levels, from classic arcade favorites to virtual reality experiences. The menu features burgers, wings, salads, steaks, and more.
Dave & Buster’s is expected to bring more jobs and revenue to the city, as well as attract more visitors and locals to the Highlands at Briargate area. The retail district already features several restaurants and shops, such as Chick-fil-A, Starbucks, Target, and Kohl’s.
