Prize is an extended edition music bundle

Grand Rapids, Michigan – July 12, 2024 – The latest contest from AMI coincides with the re-issue of Van Halen’s ninth studio album. One grand prize winner will receive For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge- the new expanded edition (2LP/2CD/blu-ray) plus a 7” singles bundle. This contest is open July 12, 2024, through July 21, 2024. Everyone 18+ can enter using the AMI Music app available on iOS and Android, or on any participating AMI Jukebox.

The 1991 album—the third with vocalist Sammy Hagar—was hailed as a return to the band’s hard rock roots and was the first that Eddie recorded without his trademark Marshall Super Lead serving as the primary amplifier. F.U.C.K. debuted at number 1 on the Billboard 200 album chart, held the position for three consecutive weeks and produced seven singles including the mega-hits “Poundcake,” “Top of the World,” and “Right Now.” It was both a commercial success and a critical milestone in Van Halen's discography, solidifying their status as one of the most influential rock bands of the late 20th century.

Despite lineup changes and occasional turbulence, Sammy Hagar's years with the band remain a significant chapter in their history. Said Hagar: “The peak of my musical life was Van Halen.” Their music from this period continues to be celebrated by fans and showcases their enduring influence in the world of rock.
