The Software Update Will Bring Silver Strike Bowling Online While Also Connecting It with New Score IT Software
May 8, 2024 – LINCOLNSHIRE, IL One of the hottest arcade games on the street is getting a much- welcomed upgrade just in time for summer.
The Arcade Collection, Incredible Technologies’ beefy multi-cade that features three of its most iconic products, Silver Strike Bowling, PowerPutt Golf and Target Toss Pro, will bring the product online in a software update that is set to ship on June 10th.
Arcade Collection LIVE will bring Silver Strike Bowling online, unlocking a wealth of features including Prize Play, Roll-N-Win and other game modes. Vegas Bowling, one of the platform's most popular modes, will now also be available to be played online.
While PowerPutt Golf and Target Toss Pro will remain offline, the games are both feature-rich and offer up wide appeal. PowerPutt comes loaded with 11 courses that each have hundreds of unique tee areas and pin placements. Target Toss Pro includes both lawn darts and bags, giving it two unique games in one. Both games also offer local bracket-style play for up to 16 players.
“When we built the Arcade Collection, we hoped that the interest in the product would warrant us having to invest in bringing the product online,” Adam Kramer, President of Incredible Technologies’ Amusement Division, said. “The overwhelming response made this an easy decision to make, especially when you consider just how strong of a following Silver Strike has built over 20 years.”
Strike Strike Bowling originally launched in 2004. It has since evolved over the last two decades through multiple upgrades, the most recent being Silver Strike LIVE. SSB LIVE will officially debut with the upcoming Arcade Collection Online update, giving players the ability to customize their bowlers and bowling balls. It will also allow them to track their stats while competing against players across the United States in online or prize play contests.
Operators will also have the ability to run Silver Strike-specific contests on the Arcade Collection using Score IT, IT’s very own web-based player-tracking software. The software debuted on Golden Tee Golf cabinets last month, although its capabilities will expand to include Silver Strike LIVE with the upcoming update release.
“The longevity and success of Silver Strike is a testament to our players and the ability for our operators to create events that bring this game to life,” Kramer added. “Score IT will be a critical piece of the Arcade Collection’s future, and we’re very excited to see what custom contests our operators will create.”
