The Palms Casino Resort to host Arcade & Mobile World Championship Events

January 16, 2024 – LINCOLNSHIRE, IL - The Golden Tee World Championship is heading back to Las Vegas for the game's historic 35th anniversary, and it’s celebrating the occasion in style. Two different champions will be crowned, making this one of the most anticipated weekends in Golden Tee history.

The four-day championship experience will take place from June 27th through June 30th at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas. Throughout the weekend, Incredible Technologies will hold two World Championship events.

Golden Tee Mobile will be first up to decide a champion, as trackballs will give way for ultra-competitive tablet play. Once that has concluded, the focus will shift to the arcade—the game’s roots—and the Golden Tee PGA TOUR platform.

Vegas has always been Golden Tee’s unofficial home, and we are thrilled to keep it that way.”

Qualifying for the arcade and mobile tournaments is now underway. The GT Mobile field will consist of 24 players, and players can earn spots through weekly in-app qualifying.

The arcade field will consist of 96 participants. Players can qualify across commercial Golden Tee PGA TOUR cabinets on Events Mode over the next three-plus months. Other on-cabinet qualifiers, including exclusive international contests, are also planned.

All told, across both tournaments, Incredible Technologies will award more than $200,000 in prizes.

“While the two games are very different, this weekend is a celebration of the Golden Tee Brand and its cultural impact over the last 35 years,” said Head of Amusement Marketing Kevin Lindsay. “Given the sheer talent expected in both fields, we anticipate these players to put on quite a show.”

The World Championship events will be streamed across Golden Tee’s social channels throughout the entire weekend. The public is also welcome to watch and attend.

As has become a tradition, Incredible Technologies will host live qualifiers for both events inside the Palms. Last chance qualifying for mobile will take place on Thursday night, with last chance qualifying for arcade taking place on Friday night.  More details on these in-person events will be available soon.
