The project is based on the idea of looking for all the smiles in the world and to achieve this, Pep Tarrés, as the main character, ventures into the most unusual places with his Quad. Along the way he will find beautiful places, wonderful people and many setbacks, which he must overcome with his ingenuity and his desire to improve. Pep Tarrés has been leading Digital Centre Company since 1997, a company specialized in the manufacture of innovative photo booths, and is an expert in capturing smiles and good times for life. That is why he plans a new adventure, where the ultimate goal will be to discover new territories, explore them and connect with different cultures and their smiles.
Finding smiles around the world has always been a challenge and the results have been very gratifying. Digital Centre CEO had previously done two long Quad routes that were very enriching experiences and that led him to be a person with values and capable of overcoming extreme challenges.
The first route was Barcelona - Cape Town (1994-95) A route with a Yamaha Warrior 350 Quad that started in Marseille, with a boat to Tunisia, and from there to Libya, Chad, the Central African Republic (CAR), Zaire (now Congo ), Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Malawi, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Namibia and South Africa.
The second solo route was Barcelona – Tokyo (2006) with a Quad Yamaha Grizzly 660 that started in Barcelona, with a boat to Italy, and from there to Greece, Turkey, Iran, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Russia and Japan, ending in Tokyo.
And this third and current Quad adventure is a route from Barcelona to Nepal (2023). This time with a Yamaha Kodiak 700 Quad with ITP Baja-Cross Tires, and fully prepared for an intense adventure. The route starts in Barcelona, with a boat to Italy, and from there to Albania, Montenegro, Croatia, Bosnia Herzegovina, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Serbia, Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Iran, Pakistan, India and Nepal.
According to Pep Tarres: "The reason for the trip is to get to know new countries and new cultures, to enjoy the traditional cuisine of each area, while experiencing the nature that surrounds us. Since 1997 I have run the company Digital Centre, where we manufacture photo booths, and where we will Capture experiences on paper, the goal is total when the experiences are smiles.
